Botanical description
This tree can grow to a height of 30 meters.
During the summer months, it produces a large number of white and aromatic flowers, followed by elongated seed pods with 3-5 seeds inside.
Its bark molts periodically to avoid lichens, fungi, epiphytes and lianas.
Once or twice a year, it gets rid of its bark completely. The soft green bark underneath is something like a sunburned human being. The older the tree, the more of its bark will peel off and climb up its trunk. It produces white or green flowers between March and April.
